The rest of the world was introduced to the Japanese love for anime and manga through popular dubbed versions of Sailor Moon. A young girl in a sailor outfit is the main heroine. Japanese school girls often wear this outfit to school. The characters of Sailor Moon are mostly magic users. A person who has been following the story of Sailor Moon is no doubt a fan of the plot as well as the way the characters are drawn.
That girls love to costume play as Sailor Moon is not surprising. The girls can roleplay as Sailor Moon and even show off the characteristic hand sign that the heroine does whenever she shows off her magic.
What Are the Elements of a Sailor Moon Costume?
A white blouse with a sailor collar is the best way to start coming up with your costume. A short skirt should match the color of the upper garment. How short shall the skirt be? It should be just above the knee. Skirts should be short and bouncy. The legs should be covered up to the knees with boots or socks.
The sailor moon hairstyle should also be considered in the ensemble. Although a woman need not have long hair to re-create the now-famous Sailor Moon hair-do, to pony tails on both sides of the head are recommended.

Chibi moon is a unique character in the series because she is flashy and more animated than the rest. Chibi moon is considered as the cutest among the characters because her clothes are always over the top and girly. Chibi moon is depicted as young and vibrant. Head accessories are a must, and you can even wear heart cut-outs as accents.
